ABOUT MANICOUAGAN MINERALS
Manicouagan Minerals Inc. (TSX-V:MAM) Manicouagan Minerals Inc. is a Canadian based exploration company focused on advancing its gold projects in the Pickle Lake Gold Belt, Ontario and the Cloridorme Aluminous Clay project in Gaspé Québec. Manicouagan also has a pipeline of commodity projects including the Brabant Lake Zinc deposit in Saskatchewan, and the Mouchalagane Nickel/Copper/PGE and HPM/Forgues Nickel/Copper/Cobalt projects in Québec.
Manicouagan's 2012 focus is to:
- Explore strategic land position in the Pickle Lake Greenstone Belt
- Complete Phase II drilling at Dorothy Dobie Lake Property
- Complete Phase III drilling at Kasagiminnis Lake Property
- Initiate Phase I drilling at Cloridorme Alumina Property
At Pickle Lake, we are exploring in a proven, but underexplored gold mining camp that continues to offer the potential for new discoveries. Manicouagan Minerals is the largest land-holder in the Pickle Lake region -- with 98 km2 of prospective land located in the prolific Uchi Geological Subprovince, which hosts the gold mining camps of Pickle Lake, Red Lake and Rice Lake. Historic gold production from these mines exceeded 25 million ounces. The Pickle Lake gold camp is home to four high grade past producing gold mines.

On the recently acquired Cloridorme alumina property in Gaspé Québec, an initial diamond drill program will be undertaken in this summer.
