Manicouagan Adds Gold Assets

Acquisition of Gold Properties in the Pickle Lake Greenstone Belt -- Northern Ontario

Manicouagan has recently acquired a group of gold properties in one of the largest producing gold belts in Canada. The properties are located in the Pickle Lake Greenstone Belt, which is part of the prolific Uchi Geological Subprovince having historically produced over 30 million ounces of gold. The Pickle Lake Properties consist of three non-contiguous claim groups (Pickle Lake East, Kasagiminnis, and Dorothy-Dobie) that cover an area of approximately 7,741 hectares (77.41 square kilometres). The Pickle Lake area includes four well-known high-grade past producing mines:
  • Golden Patricia (0.45 M oz at 19.9 gpt Au)
  • Dona Lake (0.21 M oz at 8.6 gpt Au)
  • Central Patricia (0.65 M oz at 12.0 gpt Au)
  • Pickle Crow (1.45 M oz at 16.1 gpt Au)

This acquisition reflects Manicouagan's commitment to add one or more gold projects to broaden its diversified portfolio of quality Canadian exploration projects.
